El aguilucho pálido (Hen Harrier)

Su distribución es de el norte de la península desde Madrid en adelante excepto Cataluña.

Nombre cientifico: Circus cyaneus

Longitud: 45-55 cm, envergadura: 105-109 cm, sedentario, frecuente, cazador

Su hábitat es de páramos, estepas, praderas, monte bajo.... Solo se confunde con el aguilucho cenizo pués se asemeja bastante. En la península Ibérica existen unos 1000 ejemplares de aguilucho pálido repartidos por todo el tercio norte de la península. Es de color marrón y tiene una "corona en la cabeza", cría en el suelo al igual que el aguilucho cenizo y también como este en las hierbas bajas también su peor enemigo es la segadora.
